General Data
Stallion: 3D-printed fixed wing UAV, featuring two tractor motors, a single tail boom, and a V-tail , emphasizing optimal performance and compact design. Its geometry undergoes careful design and optimization using CFD and real test flights. The modular airframe includes a fully detachable nose for adapting to various payloads. The aircraft is designed for a standard 19x19mm FPV camera. All 3D printing files are provided in STL format, with some available in STEP for easy customization of components like mounts and sensors. With the recommended motors and battery, Stallion delivers excellent performance and low power consumption, achieving stable flight at under 40% throttle. Depending on the chosen equipment and battery size, it can be configured for long-range flights or as a lightweight aircraft for shorter distances. The Stallion offers a versatile, adaptable platform with a balance of performance and customization for various applications. All parts can be printed on a 220x220mm print bed.

CFD RESULTS

Geometry optimized for maximum efficiency and stability using Eppler E205 airfoil. Center of gravity set at 60mm from the leading edge ensures longitudinal stability and zero pitching moment at zero angle of attack. Highest aerodynamic efficiency between 0-2 degrees AoA at 60-70 km/h cruising speed. With recommended motor, propeller, and 4S battery, the aircraft maintains steady flight at around 40% power, averaging 4A current draw for over 4 hours of flight time. Significant power reserve allows for 3S battery use. Flexible motor and battery options cater to user preferences. Configurable for manual and automatic flight modes without requiring a flight controller.
