OVERVIEW
General Data
The Moose is a versatile UAV featuring a classic layout with two tractor motors and a V-tail. Its hybrid 3D-printed construction combines lightweight filaments, high-strength materials, and carbon tubes reinforcement. A modular nose section allows easy customization for various missions. Designed for FPV flights with potential for aerial mapping. The spacious fuselage is arranged to accommodate a large battery, complete electronic equipment, and additional payload such as cameras and sensors. This fixed wing drone offers quick tool-free assembly of wings and tail surfaces using snap-lock fasteners. With a wingspan of 1600 mm, it combines compactness with ample usable space.

PAYLOAD COMPARTMENT
Payload compartment with internal dimensions of 140 x 118 x 90 mm, located in the central fuselage near the aircraft's center of gravity. designed to house mapping cameras, sensors, or other payload modules. Also provided in STEP format, enabling modification and integration with custom equipment.

CFD RESULTS

Optimized aircraft geometry ensures high aerodynamic efficiency and stability. The airframe features well-balanced lift distribution, along with a streamlined shape that minimizes aerodynamic drag. The wing uses the Selig S3021 airfoil. Proper center of gravity placement provides longitudinal stability and zero pitching moment at zero angle of attack. Maximum efficiency is achieved between 0° and 3° angle of attack, ideal for cruise flight.
