OVERVIEW
General Data
The Riflebird is a compact tailsitter UAV platform combining vertical takeoff and landing capability with the efficiency of a flying wing. Its fixed motor layout eliminates the need for tilt mechanisms, while large elevons operating directly in the propwash provide effective control during hover and smooth transitions to forward flight. A modular airframe with quick detachable components makes the aircraft easy to transport, store and deploy. Designed primarily for FPV use and lightweight setups, the Riflebird offers a simple and practical approach to compact VTOL flying.

WINGTIP OPTIONS
Two wingtip variants are included: upward-curved and downward-curved, allowing you to choose the preferred look.

CFD RESULTS

The aircraft’s geometry is optimized to provide the best possible efficiency and flight stability. With PW75 airfoil and balanced lift distribution, the aircraft remains stable and does not generate a pitching moment at zero angle of attack. Peak efficiency is achieved between 0° and 3°, matching typical cruise conditions.
